 "Money Heist" is a Spanish television series, originally titled "La Casa de Papel," which follows the story of a criminal mastermind known as "The Professor" who recruits a group of eight people to carry out an ambitious heist on the Royal Mint of Spain. In season 1, the show introduces us to the group of robbers, all of whom use city names as aliases to mask their identities: Tokyo (the narrator and one of the robbers), Berlin (the strategic leader), Nairobi (a counterfeiting expert), Rio (a hacker), Moscow (a miner), Helsinki (a tough veteran), Denver (Moscow's son), and Oslo (Helsinki's cousin).


The Professor meticulously plans the heist, aiming to steal billions of euros while avoiding casualties. To achieve this, the robbers are given codenames based on cities and are instructed to not form personal relationships during the heist. They enter the Royal Mint under the guise of hostages, taking the employees and visitors hostage while printing their own money.


As the heist begins, tensions rise between the hostages, the robbers, and the police led by Inspector Raquel Murillo. The hostages gradually develop a connection with the robbers, and some even join their cause. Raquel tries to uncover the Professor's identity and stop the heist but is initially unsuccessful.

Throughout the season, we witness the development of complex relationships among the robbers, with some struggles and conflicts arising. Meanwhile, flashbacks provide insight into the background of each character and their motivations for participating in the heist.


As the police begin to close in on the robbers, the situation inside the bank becomes increasingly intense. The Professor continues to manipulate events from the outside, using his intellect and meticulous planning to maintain control. The robbers face numerous obstacles as they attempt to stay one step ahead of the police and complete their mission.





With action, suspense, and unexpected twists, season 1 of "Money Heist" delivers an engaging story of a high-stakes heist and the dynamics between the robbers, hostages, and law enforcement. It sets the stage for an exciting journey that continues in subsequent seasons.
